British 10k team 2009
Our fantastic team ran 10k along with 27,000 other people through the heart of central London on July 12th.
Together they have raised an amazing £ 6,730.45
This could go a long way towards supporting some of the poorest families in rural India and Malawi to make real and lasting improvements to their lives by:
- Funding 50 healthcare camps where 7,500 Indian women will learn about HIV and AIDS, reproductive health and the prevention and treatment of common diseases AND
- Providing 125 farmers in Malawi with training in sustainable farming practices that will enable them to improve their harvest and feed their family all year round AND
- Providing 70 people in India with training, tools and support to establish small business activities that will enable them to earn a stable income for them and their families.
The team enjoyed good running weather conditions and were rewarded for all their hard work at the end with a goody bag containing products dontated by the following great companies:
A massive thank you to all our runners and sponsors!
50 feet for 50 years at Find Your Feet
For the past seven years Find Your Feet has had teams of people running in the British 10k London Run. Altogether they have raised a grand total of £ 33,677.28. This income has been vital in enabling us to expand our work, meaning that we are now reaching 35,000 people living in rural poverty in India and Malawi.
Next year is our 50th anniversary and we would like to celebrate this important milestone by having 50 feet (25 runners) in the British 10k.
