By applying to join FYF's Flora London Marathon team 2009 you will have the chance to take part in one of the most exciting running events, while knowing that every step you take will help people in India and Malawi to lift themselves out of poverty

We know how much hard work and dedication you need to run a marathon. We will be there throughout to help make your Flora London Marathon 2009 a fantastic experience.

FYF had a fantastic team running in the Flora London Marathon 2008.

Following months of hard work and training they ran all the way to the finish line, raising an amazing £ 16,200 to support rural families in India and Malawi to lift themselves out of poverty. This could:

• train 300 farmers in sustainable farming practices so families have food to eat all year round
• AND give 285 people a head-start in setting up small businesses so they can pay for health care services
• AND equip and run four education centres where teenage girls can learn literacy and life skills.
